Stars in Europe - Senegal - Transfer - Boiro joins West Ham on season-long loan

Adama Boiro

West Ham United have signed Athletic Club left-back Adama Boiro on a season-long loan with an option to buy.

The 24-year-old brings Champions League experience to East London, having made 45 appearances for the Basque club, including six in last season's competition.

The Bigger Picture

Boiro becomes West Ham's ninth signing of the summer window — a clear signal of just how busy the Hammers have been reshaping their squad this transfer window.

The Reaction

"I like the challenge that's in front of us here," Boiro told West Ham's website. "This is a club with ambition and an objective to get promoted, and I think my mentality, my desire, and my hard work will help my teammates and the club achieve that."
