Stars in Europe - Brazil -  Keyplayer - Vinicius Junior will stay at Real Madrid

Real Madrid have secured their future and their present in the same afternoon. Vinicius Junior has signed a new six-year contract, tying him to the Bernabéu until 30 June 2032, ending months of transfer speculation that had reportedly pulled Arsenal's interest.

The numbers
128 goals in 375 appearances. 2x Champions League. 3x La Liga. 1x Copa del Rey. At 26, Vinicius is already a Real Madrid legend, and he's not done.

In his words 
"Eight years at the Bernabéu are too short... Six more years, and then forever," Vinicius posted on Instagram.

The bigger picture
The announcement dropped the same day Real confirmed Yan Diomandé's arrival from RB Leipzig, a deal worth up to €140m. The Ivorian winger becomes Real's sixth signing of the summer.
