FIFA RANKING - APRIL 2016 FOR AFRICA
Algeria is back as Africa's top team in FIFA's ranking for April, while Cape Verde slips from the summit to sixth.
Algeria's victory over Ethiopia puts them on course to qualify for Afcon 2017
Moving up from third to first, Algeria has re-established itself, helped by a 7:1 thrashing of Ethiopia in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Cape Verde was beaten twice by Morocco.
And Nigeria has tumbled to 14th in Africa and 67th in the world after being eliminated from qualifying for the 2017 Nations Cup.
