STARS IN EUROPE - IVORY COST - CLUB - Max Gradel on the move to Bournemouth

A.F.C. Bournemouth Max Gradel

Premier League newcomers Bournemouth are closing in on the signing of St Etienne forward Max Gradel.

The Ivory Coast international, 27, had a loan spell with the Cherries in the 2007-08 season and is undergoing a medical with the south coast club.

Gradel began his career at Leicester and, after a loan spell at Leeds, moved to Elland Road permanently in 2010.

He joined St Etienne 18 months later and was their leading scorer in Ligue 1 last season with 17 goals.
