2026 World Cup - Fifa - qualifying draw

The World Cup 2026 will be the 23rd edition of the tournament but the first to feature 48 teams and three host countries: Canada, Mexico, and the USA.

The 2026 World Cup will start on June 11 in Mexico City and will end on July 19, 2026, in New Jersey.

The expanded 48-team tournament will last a record 39 days.

For the first time, the new format will feature 12 groups of four teams and a last-32 knockout round.
