FIFA suspended the Sudan Football Association on 7 July 2017. As a result, Sudanese clubs could not continue to participate in international competitions, and Al-Hilal Al-Ubayyid were disqualified from the CAF Confederation Cup. Since Al-Hilal Al-Ubayyid have played at least half of their group matches, their remaining matches were awarded 3:0 wins to their opponents (Regulations XI. 14 & 18).
