Borussia Dortmund Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Gabon's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marks his return to the Borussia Dortmund side.

• Hamburger SV vs Borussia Dortmund 2:5

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 10 Bundesliga goals this season

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marked his return to the Borussia Dortmund side with four goals in a thumping win at bottom club Hamburg.

Aubameyang, 27, was dropped for Wednesday's Champions League win over Sporting Lisbon for "internal reasons".

He was recalled by Thomas Tuchel on Saturday and scored a 23-minute first-half hat-trick before adding a fourth shortly after half-time.

Ousmane Dembele also scored for Dortmund.

Both of Hamburg's goals came from Nicolai Muller.

Gabon international Aubameyang now has 13 Bundesliga and Champions League goals for Dortmund this season.

The win lifted Dortmund to fifth in the table, six points behind leaders Bayern Munich, who were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Hoffenheim.

Hamburg have two points from 10 games.
