FIFA RANKING - JUNE 2015 FOR AFRICA - Equatorial Guinea ranked in top 50

Equatorial Guinea have broken into the top 50 teams in Fifa's latest world rankings.

The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations hosts climbed 11 places on the list, moving up from 61st place to 50th spot.

It means Africa now have 11 teams in the top 50 - although Europe remain out in front with 29 teams.

Algeria remain the top-ranked side in Africa, placed 21st in the world, while Congo broke into the continent's top 10 after moving up two spots.

The biggest movers were Madagascar, who shot up 37 places to 113th , thanks to their solid performance at the Cosafa Cup where they reached the semi-finals.
