Senegal drew with Colombia, while Mali were beaten by Serbia in their second matches at the Under-20 World Cup.

After a 3:0 loss to Portugal in their Group C opener, Senegal needed to bounce back to keep their hopes alive.

They took the lead against Colombia when Mamadou Thiam beat two players and lashed in, but Alexis Zapata scored a penalty to make it 1:1.

Mali were beaten 2:0 by Serbia but remain in the hunt in Group D, with all four teams level on three points.

Having shocked Mexico 2:0 in their opener, Mali went into the game full of confidence.

But a superb free-kick by Sergej Milinkovic and a tap-in from substitute Stanisa Mandic gave Serbia the win and also put them top of the group on goal difference.
