The Philadelphia Union is an American professional soccer team based in the Philadelphia satellite city of Chester, Pennsylvania, which competes in Major League Soccer (MLS).
The Union became MLS's sixteenth team upon their expansion into the league in 2010.
The team plays their home matches at PPL Park, a soccer-specific stadium located on the banks of the Delaware River, and is managed, on an interim basis, by Jim Curtin.
