2014 WORLD CUP - COLOMBIA - KEY PLAYER - James Rodríguez - PROFILE

James Rodríguez expressing his honor to be praised by his hero, 'El Pibe' Valderrama.

"Rodríguez is mentally sharp, possessing quick reactions when closed down which allows him to keep control of the ball and making him more likely to be fouled. While left footed, he's able to control the ball just as well with his right foot."

AFRICAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2018 - SEMI-FINALS - 1ST LEG - ALL RESULTS

AFRICAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2018
SEMI-FINALS

1st leg

Al Ahly vs Entente Seif 4:0
Primeiro de Agosto vs Esperance 1:0

FACTS

Ahly beat Algeria's Entente Setif in Cairo 2:0 whilst Primeiro scored late on at home to beat Esperance of Tunisia and take a 1:0 lead in the tie.

Primeiro will make history if they win their semi-final.

No Angolan team has ever made the final of the continent's top club competition.

Primeiro Agosto took the lead with only 10 minutes remaining to record a home win against twice former champions Esperance in Luanda.

Primeiro coach Zoran Manojlovic was highly critical of the refereeing but delighted with the win.

"The refereeing was terrible and it hurt us a lot, but we managed to beat one of the best clubs in Africa," he said.

"I do not fear playing Esperance in Tunisia - we continue to dream of reaching the final."

The second legs of both ties will take place on Tuesday 23rd October.
