Kevin-Prince Boateng has played 15 times for Ghana

Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng has agreed to join Spanish side Las Palmas on a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old had been without a club following the end of a six-month spell at Italian club AC Milan.

Las Palmas confirmed the deal on its club website, which states Boateng is "the most important foreign player who has joined the club in recent decades".

Boateng was set for a medical on Tuesday before being presented to the club's fans at the Estadio de Gran Canaria.
