STARS IN EUROPE - FRANCE - Manchester United ready to re-sign Paul Pogba

Manchester United Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba left Old Trafford for nothing in 2012 but Jose Mourinho is desperate to bring midfielder back this summer

Manchester United are ready to re-sign Juventus ace Paul Pogba for a world-record £100m.

They are also willing to make the French playmaker one of the richest players on the planet by offering him a five-year deal worth a whopping £78m.

United boss Jose Mourinho hopes that will persuade Pogba to return to the club.

The incredible nine-figure fee would break the current record of £86m Real Madrid paid Tottenham for Gareth Bale in September 2013.

It was thought United would have to pay a similar amount to land Pog.
