STARS IN EUROPE - GHANA - CLUB - Ghana's Amartey in Leicester talks

Leicester City FC Copenhagen Daniel Amartey

Leicester City are in talks with FC Copenhagen over the signing of Ghana international Daniel Amartey.

The Danish club has confirmed that the 21-year-old, capable of playing in defence and midfield, could move to the Premier League side in January.

It has been reported by BBC Radio Leicester that he could join for a fee of up to £6m.
Amartey, who has won six caps for Ghana, has previously played for Swedish side Djurgarden.

Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri had previously said that he did not plan to make any more signings in January, following the capture of winger Demarai Gray from Birmingham City.

Leicester are second in the Premier League, level on points with leaders Arsenal, with 17 games remaining.
