stars in Europe - Uche not angry at Nigeria World Cup snub

The Villarreal striker was not picked by Keshi, despite scoring 12 goals in the Spanish top flight this season. Uche has not played for his country since they won the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa last year. The 30-year-old insists, however, that he holds no grudges against Keshi. "Of course as a professional footballer you'd love to represent your country, but I have never had bad words towards the national coach," Uche is widely regarded as one of Nigeria's most reliable strikers at international level and is one of his nation's all-time top scorers, with 18 goals in 45 appearances, behind Rashidi Yekini, Segun Odegbami and Yakubu Aiyegbeni.

NATIONAL TEAM - RWANDA - Johnny McKinstry on shortlist to be new coach

AFRICA CUP 2015 PRELIMINARIES

Rwanda are looking for a successor to the Englishman Stephen Constantine, who quit the post in January to take over as manager of the India national side.

Former Sierra Leone coach McKinstry,  29, is thought to be the favourite.

He was appointed by the Leone Stars at the age of 27 and led them into top 50 in the Fifa world rankings, losing only one of his first six matches.

But following defeats by Ivory Coast and DR Congo in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, he was sacked - only six months after he was given the job on a permanent basis.

Portuguese coach Morais, 49, worked as Jose Mourinho's assistant at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and Chelsea before moving to Tunisian side Esperance.

Weiss, also aged 49, is a former technical director of the Rwandan Football Federation (Ferwafa) and handler of the national under-20 side and has worked in Asia and in Romania.

The 44-year-old Fırat has extensively worked in assistant manager roles in Germany and Turkey, although his last job was with Iranian side Saipa.

Ferwafa says it will announce an appointment "in the upcoming days".
