IVORY COAST

Ivory Coast coach Renard rates team ethic over stars

He says his team cannot rely only on Wilfried Bony and Yaya Toure

"Wilfried is a goalscorer but needs to be in good shape," said Renard.

"Yaya has not been the best player in Africa for the last four years for nothing.

"But we need to build a team capable of working well together.

CAMEROON

Cameroon will be be keen to continue their impressive form in qualifying, where they topped their group and were unbeaten - they also conceded only one goal.

Volker Finke's Indomitable Lions have recovered from a poor World Cup campaign in Brazil and the retirement of Eto'o to be genuine contenders to win the title.

Mali's Roma midfielder Seydou Keita is set to play at his seventh Cup of Nations, while former Poland World Cup midfielder Henryk Kasperczak is having a second spell as Mali coach having lifted the Eagles to fourth place in 2002 when they hosted the finals.

The Eagles have been training at a camp about 40km to the south of Malabo, where it is even hotter than in the steamy capital.

They have no injuries to report, although their preparations were not helped by the fact their training equipment arrived behind the team, only appearing in Malabo on Saturday.
