COACHES - TUNISIA - Troussier leaves Sfaxien after Champions League defeat

AFRICAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014 CS SFAXIEN

Philippe Troussier left his position as CS Sfaxien coach on Sunday following the Tunisian club's defeat in the African Champions League.

Sfaxien were beaten 2:1 by Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final on Saturday for a 4:2 aggregate loss.

The club's website said Troussier had left the Tunisian outfit by mutual consent.

Frenchman Troussier, is a former coach of the Japan and Ivory Coast national teams.

He will be succeeded at Sfaxien by Ghazi Ghrairi, who has coached the club in the past.
