AFRICAN CONFEDERATION CUP 2014 - SEMI FINALS - 2ND LEG - ALL RESULTS

AFRICAN CONFEDERATION CUP 2014

Semi-finals second legs
• 27.09.2014: AC Leopards vs Sewe Sport 0:0
(Sewe Sport win 1:0 on aggregate)

• 28.09.2014: Al Ahly vs Coton Sport 2:1
(Ahly win 3:1 on aggregate)

The west Africans won the continent's second-tier club competition semi-final 1:0 on aggregate thanks to a Christian Kouame first-leg goal last weekend.

ASEC Mimosas were the last Ivorian finalists, defeating Zimbabweans Dynamos 4:2 overall to win the 1998 African Champions League.

A Leopards team coached by Belgian Patrick Aussems dominated at the return match at Stade Denis Sassou Nguesso in Dolisie.

But stubborn Sewe defending and some excellent saves from goalkeeper Sylvain Gbohouo denied the 2010 Confederation Cup winners.

Al Ahly vs Coton Sport 2:1 (Agg: 1:0)

Al-Ahly became the first African Confederation Cup finalists from Egypt after defeating Cameroonians Coton Sport 2:1 in Cairo on Sunday.

The victory at the Cairo Stadium, coupled with a 1:0 first-leg win last weekend, took the 'Red Devils' through 3:1 on aggregate.

They will face Sewe Sport twice more in the decider having won and drawn against the Ivorians in the group phase of the second-tier African club competition.

Ahly, who boast a record 18 African club titles, are competing in the Confederation Cup having been demoted after losing a Champions League final-round qualifier.
