AFRICA CUP 2015 QUALIFIERS

Ivory Coast striker Seydou Doumbia has been coaxed out of international retirement by coach Herve Renard and named in the squad for September's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The 26-year-old had called time on his career with the Elephants after he was overlooked for the 2014 World Cup squad under previous coach Sabri Lamouchi.

Renard has named a 26-man group for the Sierra Leone and Cameroon matches.

It is the Frenchman's first selection since his appointment on 31 July.

Ivory Coast are scheduled to take on on Sierra Leone in Abidjan on 6 September and travel to face Cameroon four days later.
