AFRICAN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2014 - GROUP STAGE - 3RD MATCHES - RESULTS so far

AS Vita force a late draw away to Al Hilal. Sudanese side Al Hilal and AS Vita Club of the Democratic Republic of Congo drew 1:1 in their African Champions League Group A match on Friday, after a sandstorm briefly interrupted the action in Khartoum.

AS Vita salvaged a point thanks to a late strike from Lema Mabidi after Sergio Junior had put the hosts ahead.

The match had to be stopped after 67 minutes for a short time after a sandstorm hit the stadium. Reports say it led to an advertising board falling down, injuring some fans.

The draw means that both clubs are on four points at the top of Group A. The other Group A match pits the other DR Congo sideTP Mazembe against Zamalek of Egypt. Both teams are on three points.
