FIFA rankings - Egypt makes big leap in latest rankings
The Pharaohs rose 12 positions to be listed as the 26th best team in the world - the third highest African team, behind Ivory Coast and Algeria. Egypt leapt up following their 2:0 friendly victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina on the 5th of the month. And they have also benefitted from a devaluation of their 3:1 defeat away to Qatar in March last year.
Elsewhere Guinea climbed nine spots to sit 53rd in the world and one place in Africa's list to break into the top 10. And while Comoros rose 15 places to rank as the 18rd-placed team in the world list.
